Reviewer Checklist
The provided checklists serve as essential tools for preparing and reviewing manuscripts, ensuring adherence to specific guidelines for different article types. Whether submitting a research article, case study, systematic review, or review article, these checklists outline critical requirements such as word limits, abstract structure, table and figure allowances, and reference restrictions. By following these standards, authors and reviewers can maintain consistency, clarity, and compliance with reporting guidelines, ultimately supporting the production of high-quality scholarly work.

This checklist can be used when reviewing both Research Articles and Case Studies.
Research Articles are original empirical studies, typically covering a range of biomedical research, and constitute the majority of journal content. These articles include a structured abstract of no more than 250 words and are limited to 5000 words of text.
- All submissions must adhere to the relevant reporting guidelines and statistical reporting standards.
- A maximum of 5 tables/figures is allowed for this article type.
